A native of Snyder County, she was valedictorian of her graduation class, earning her Associates Degree as a Paralegal. She lives on a small farm in the Middleburg area, where she and her husband of 19 years, Wayne, raise whitetail deer.
Prior to coming aboard at Madison, Heather worked at a local law firm for ten years, gaining a great deal of experience working with foreclosures, disability and civil suits. The fast-paced environment at the law firm taught her the ability to not only jump quickly from one customer file to another, but also how to clear title and understand judgments and mortgages.
Heather’s responsibilities at Madison range from opening the files to preparing the HUD, to post-closing. Heather says that she truly enjoys working with not only Madison’s realtor and lender clients, but also those buying and selling their homes. “I remember the excitement my husband and I had as a young couple purchasing our first home, as well as the excitement we felt when we sold that home to purchase our dream home. I enjoy helping customers realize their dream of ownership because, as Laura Ingalls Wilder said, ‘home is the nicest word there is.’”
The mother of two daughters – an 18-year-old college freshman and a 17-year-old high school senior, in her spare time, you’ll probably find her on the sidelines at her daughter’s sporting events. She also enjoys league bowling, reading, spending time with my family, and hanging out farm with her dogs, Max, Scamp and Sadie.Back to our team
